We design and execute visual solutions for businesses, non-profits, and institutions. Our clients range from globally recognized brands to small startups. We work to understand the needs of each client, then collaboratively pursue their objectives.
And we love every minute of it.
We are hiring a Junior Designer for a full time, staff position. This is an entry-level job and a great opportunity for someone starting or early in their career.
Despite the title, there's nothing "junior" about the creative muscles you'll get to flex: visual identity materials and logos, infographics, web site interfaces, publication layouts, posters, and more. If it is something that communicates visually, whether printed or on screen, you may get to design it. Our clients are local and national brands, and their needs are varied. We can't lie though, this job also requires a fair amount of "production" work. You'll do things like copy/pasting and reformatting content for the web and importing products to an e-commerce site. Or you'll create materials that follow existing, strict brand guidelines.
What do you get in return? A collaborative and supportive work environment with experienced designers. An office in the heart of Pioneer Square, surrounded by good eats, gorgeous architecture, and walking distance to the waterfront and Downtown. Retirement, medical, and continuing education benefits. We're small, so there's many opportunities to jump in on different kinds of work and see what it takes to run a successful design firm. Ideally this will be a job where you can grow within the company as your own skills and experience expand.
DeLapp Design is a small but mighty design company anchored in the heart of Pioneer Square’s tech and startup community. Our clients range from nationally recognized brands like Microsoft, University of Washington, and the Environmental Defense Fund to bootstrapped, local non-profits. We provide web, UX, and visual design services for the delivery of web sites, mobile and kiosk applications, brand identity packages, and publications.
We’re in our third year and the team is growing. We are seeking ambitious, creative, fun people who sweat the small stuff and appreciate a quality product. Love music? That’s a plus. Think you’d be kick-ass at helping curate the office playlist? You’re already halfway hired.
